Death and Mourning in the Victorian Period

October 3 — November 3, 2017

Explore the history of funerals and mourning during the Victorian Period. There will be a funeral set up in the parlor as it was when Nannie Wharton died at the Glencoe Mansion in 1890. The exhibit will feature period coffins, objects of mourning and postmortem photographs.
